Judging from the amount of hype already surrounding the Ford Bronco Heritage editions, it’s no secret that these models have a lot of expectations to meet. The Ford Bronco Sport Limited Heritage special-edition model is available in Yellowstone Metallic. Some of the other available Ford Bronco Heritage edition colors include Robin’s Egg Blue, Peak Blue, and Race Red. The most iconic component of these Ford Bronco Heritage edition models is the Oxford White grille with Race Red “BRONCO” lettering. Along the side, you will notice 17-inch Oxford White Aluminum Wheels and bodyside stripes. These design touches are a throwback to the historic Ford Bronco and give the models a trendy retro look. Ford outlines a hybrid launch control system featuring a dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive. Ford Motor Company filed the Hybrid Vehicle Launching Methods and System patent on April 22nd, 2019. It was published on May 24th, 2022. The patent describes a hybrid launch control system that will receive power from both the gas and electric motors. According to the patent claims, the hybrid launch control system will allow the electric motor to propel the vehicle while the gas engine is decoupled, increasing the torque transfer capacity of the clutch while accelerating the engine. In short, the engine, though a hybrid, will allow vehicles to launch at impressive speeds. Ford Authority noted that the patent seems to suggest that Ford has been experimenting with a hybrid Mustang. With this system, a hybrid Mustang has the potential for greatness. We are expecting a high-powered, fuel efficient force of nature with mind blowing launching capabilities to make its way into the Blue Oval lineup in the near future.
