The United States Armed Forces have put their lives on the line to keep us safe. The soldiers who have served our nation with bravery, whether in World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, or any other battle in our history, deserve special honor. The Preston Automotive Group family presents veterans with a $500 discount on new vehicles all year round to honor their service and a free oil change on Veterans Day. In November, all vehicle purchases receive a Yellow Preston Frog in dedication of veterans. Also, we present a per vehicle sold donation that supports our local veterans and military personnel during this event.
Veterans Day, once Armistice Day, was founded on November 11, 1919, marking one year after the end of WWI. Armistice signifies a truce or agreement made by opposing sides in a war to end fighting, and this day officially became a federal holiday in 1938. It was later amended by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1954 to include all veterans.
